Today was an exciting day in the life of Building Lives International! They opened their first school! 🎉 Life is hard as a street kid and it doesn’t stop being difficult even when you are rescued. Street children have a bad reputation and many experience bullying and harassment at school from staff as well as pupils! This new school will give them a safe place to grow and be respected for the unique and precious individuals
that they are.
As well as benefitting the BLI children, this school will be a huge benefit to its surrounding community. There has not previously been a school in this area and local children had to get up at 4am to make the journey to their nearest school. A school is often the heart of a community and brings people together with a common goal. Please join me in praying for the school, staff, children and community as they begin this new adventure.
It was a privilege to share this moment in the life of the ministry and I know God will use it greatly in the furtherance of his Kingdom!
